Where it all started We were founded in 1919 by auctioneer and estate agent Sidney Clarke and surveyor Frank Gammon. Together, their combined talents created a firm where professional and personal service were the trademarks. Those values remain at the core of the business today, where we are dedicated to providing a complete property service to all our clients. In May 2003, Clarke Gammon merged with Wellers - specialists in agricultural and equestrian property, farm management and rural practice. The company was the principle firm of Auctioneers, Valuers and Land Agents in Surrey, West Sussex and North East Hampshire, with an established reputation for letting, marketing and acquisition of estates, farms and country properties. On 1st April 2009 leading Surrey auctioneers Ewbank and the antiques division of Clarke Gammon Wellers merged and can now offer our clients two of the longest established and most highly regarded firms of professional auctioneers in Surrey under one roof. The new auction rooms are called Ewbank Clarke Gammon Wellers. Where we are now Clarke Gammon Wellers brings together a wealth of knowledge and expertise in residential, rural, agricultural and commercial property, along with the invaluable experience of our Partners and managers in their local markets.
