Andrew Ireland

Andrew Ireland is a member of the Royal Institution of chartered surveyors (MRICS),an RICS accredited Valuer  and RICS accredited expert witness.  His main focus is Commercial property portfolio management providing a range of client consultancy advice across the region. He has lived and worked in the area for many years and as such has built up a good knowledge of property through out the South Hams and the  South West region to include a wide range of commercial contacts.

Andrew is equally able to provide a one to one service for Self-invested pension fund holders as he has experience in dealing with larger mixed portfolios, which may include a range of commercial property types.

Following a degree in agriculture from Seale Hayne agricultural college, Andrew undertook a postgraduate masters degree in Land management at Reading university (MPhil).  This involved a significant body of research as part of the degree and Andrew specialised in the effects of inflation, debt flows and Commercial property rents.  Andrew qualified as a surveyor in 1992 following a graduate training scheme with Chesterton commercial in Birmingham.  This gave Andrew exposure to a wide range of property types from large scale industrial  to smaller single property owning manufacturers.  Clients included Addis, Halfords, Bollom dry cleaners now part of the Sketchley group and IMI Range.

In his free time Andrew enjoys sailing, and walking.

Valuation for accountancy purposes a mixed portfolio geographically spread across the West Country and the Midlands for one of the UK’s largest private landlords.

Expert witness work to  include professional negligence, matrimonial valuation and claims under single indemnity insurance policies.

Agency and acquisition advice to include portfolio strategy and planning.

Commercial freehold valuation and rent review.
