Ben Luxton

Ben specialises in development land agency and strategic land opportunities.  

Prior to joining Stags, Ben qualified as a Solicitor and practiced for several years in the Exeter office of a Top 100 Law Firm, where he specialised in strategic land, development and commercial property. Whilst in the legal profession, Ben acted for a variety of landowners, developers and public sector bodies and gained significant experience acting for landed estates and other rural businesses. Ben regularly advised landowners in relation to option, promotion and hybrid agreements, conditional contracts and overage arrangements. 

Ben brings a wealth of technical experience and fully understands the complexities and potential pitfalls that are associated with development land transactions. Ben is able to quickly identify and mitigate potential legal issues at any early stage, which can help to reduce delay and, in some cases, cost. This added experience complements the existing Development Land team at Stags, who work together as a collaborative department to ensure the firm supports their clients throughout the whole lifecycle of any development land transaction.    

Whilst supporting the growth of the Development Land Team, Ben will also be undertaking the necessary steps to qualify as a RICS Chartered Surveyor.
