Where it all started We were founded in 1919 by auctioneer and estate agent Sidney Clarke and surveyor Frank Gammon. Together, their combined talents created a firm where professional and personal service were the trademarks. Those values remain at the core of the business today, where we are dedicated to providing a complete property service to all our clients. In May 2003, Clarke Gammon merged with Wellers - specialists in agricultural and equestrian property, farm management and rural practice. Wellers itself was formerly known as Wellers Eggar after a merger of two highly respected agricultural practices Weller & Co of Guildford and Eggar & Co of Farnham. The company was the principle firm of Auctioneers, Valuers and Land Agents in Surrey, West Sussex and North East Hampshire, with an established reputation for letting, marketing and acquisition of estates, farms and country properties.
